Investment Risk Policy
Last updated: 24 October 2026
1. Market and liquidity risk
Cryptoasset prices can change rapidly due to market sentiment, regulation, concentrated ownership, exchange failures and technology events. Liquidity can disappear, causing slippage and inability to exit at expected prices.
2. Leverage and liquidation
Leverage multiplies gains and losses; small adverse price movements may exhaust collateral. Any leverage illustrations on this site are educational calculations, not live positions or investment recommendations.
3. Custody and operational risk
Private-key compromise, smart-contract vulnerabilities, cyber incidents, network congestion, stablecoin depegging and service-provider failures may result in loss or delayed access. No CIV custody service is active or represented as independently audited.
4. Counterparty and regulatory risk
Exchange insolvency, third-party defaults, changing laws and tax treatment can materially affect cryptoassets. Regulatory permissions, where required, must be confirmed before financial services are provided.
5. Data and model risk
CoinGecko spot data and TradingView exchange charts are indicative third-party information, not guaranteed real-time executable quotes. They may be delayed, incomplete or unavailable.
6. Returns and historical claims
Past performance, where independently verified and properly disclosed, does not predict future results. Unverified historical investment-return or investor-count claims are not published as fact on this website.
7. Risk management approach
Before launching any investment offering, CIV must document asset eligibility, exposure limits, position sizing, liquidity controls, independent reconciliations, custody arrangements, incident response, conflict management, investor suitability and reporting processes. These controls are not represented as operational until evidenced.
8. User responsibility
Consider your financial circumstances and obtain independent professional advice where appropriate. Never commit money you cannot afford to lose.
